Seniors Open Day Results

On Thursday 27^th July 2021 the Seniors Open Day took place in sunshine and showers with the course in excellent condition for the fantastic turnout of over 130 players, from as far afield as Royal Wimbledon, Royal Mid Surrey, and Didsbury (Southampton).

There were some fantastic scores posted on the day by both visitors and members alike, with the following results:

Overall Winner: Roy John 46pts (Milford Haven)

Members Placings:

1^st David Britton 44pts

2^nd Richard Setterfield 42pts

3^rd Anthony Davey 42pts

4^th Chris Harding 41pts

5^th Mark Davies 41pts

Visitors Placings:

1^st Bob Brice 45pts (Ponterdawe)

2^nd John Thomas 43pts (Ponterdawe)

3^rd Lance Davies 42pts (Ponterdawe)

4^th Alan Edwards 40pts (Carmarthen)

5^th Wayne Pulman 40pts (Langland Bay)

Closest to the Pin 6^th Hole: Don Tancock (Ponterdawe)

Closest to the Pin 16^th Hole: Alan Dennison (Milford Haven)

Closest to the Pin 2^nd Shot 9^th: Chris Oliver (Milford Haven)

There were 20 twos recorded on the day with each receiving a sleeve of balls.

A real gem of a golf course and a very friendly welcome too. The course makes great use of the topography, thoughtfully designed and challenging even for lower handicaps. Quite a few holes where course knowledge a definite advantage. Highly recommend a visit.

The pro, Bar and club members are friendly before and after your round. Food and beers are excellent value with the food being great quality. We had Sunday lunch the 3 courses were fantastic, piping hot and full of flavour. We will be returning and recommending to friends.
